Project DUncan Snyder: Caffeine Addiction in progress

This is the revised version of what I worked on as a motion graphic piece. I did more drawings and changed the color scheme to be more variety. Also, this is on-going project so there is no music or any sound effects. It’s only been half way through as a completed projects. I still need to work on with timing and better storyboard with this project, therefore, the audience can get the right concept about caffeine addiction. I do not just want to warn people, but also let them aware of its addiction.

Caffeine Project-Rough Motion Graphics

This is what I have so far right now. This is the rough version of Caffein Addiction video, and some of drawing elements I used on this rough version will be changed later with new design. There will be less text, but more drawings and motion graphics.

Inspirational Video for Caffeine Project

I looked up for some of video that can help me guide how to make a better storyline to warn people about Caffeine Addiction. The videos that I found either on Youtube or Vimeo are not about Caffeine Addiction, but they are the videos that are in the form of Public Service Announcement. It helps me to understand how to guide the audience in order to know the idea of my Caffeine Addiction project.

Caffine Project in progress

My ‘Caffeine Project’ is still on progress and I drew some contents that will be used for my project. I drew all those drawings that I posted here on Illustrator and add more drawings on Photoshop if I need. Drawing part will be done by the middle of next week, and I will be working on After Effect for animatic part.

I will draw some silhouettes of people that represent the illness from too much caffeine intake, so that I can warn people being aware of its seriousness about caffeine addiction.

This is the referrence from the instructor of my Design for Media calss, Ms. Kayane Kouzoujian, and I using most of information for my ‘Caffeine Project’ based on this advertisement graphic poster.

Caffeine Addiction working in progress

I am working on Caffeine Addiction Project both for my Time Based Media Design and Design for Media class. This is rough animation of Caffeine Addiction for first few seconds.

Caffeine Addiction Project on Progress

I drew up some of simple thumbnails to help myself to work on Caffeine Addiction Project. I think the storyboard of the project will be changed at the end if I find out a better story.

Also, I drew up some of contents I will use for Caffeine Project. Most of them were first drew up on Illustration and re-saved as either png. or jpeg format. I do not know how to bring the illustration format files to After Effect as an editable file.

This is my first rough drawings, but I think of drawings need to be much more simple. They are going to be very simplified by only showing shape and color.

Project Ron Saks-Final

These are two pieces that I worked on for the Project Ron Saks. The project was assigned to me as a group project with the members of other people in Design for Media class, Rachel, Emily, and Do Eui.

I worked for this project as a member of drawing part with Do Eui, and Rachel and Emily took photographs.

Both of Do Eui and I chose a photograph from each photographer in our group, and the two photos below were my choice.

To make a connection between these two photos, I generally focus on the shape of human body, especially the hair parts by giving more highlights with black and white brush tool on Photoshop.

Ron Saks Project Photo Inspiration

I looked up some profile photographs that would fit into our project. They’re now the color photographs, but would be better with either saturated or black and white photographs. Also, I realize that empty background will be helpful for me to create some illustration drawings that emphasize the movement or structure of body.

Our photograph part is not done yet, but I am meeting up the member of our group today in class. Our photographers will give me and the other illustration drawing peer their photographs to work on. I will be able to show further steps of our project by next week.

Project Ron Saks-Inspirational Images

I am in the group of Rachel whose project is to make a small series of photography with mixed media. In our group, we have two parts of people working on the project differently: photography and graphic design.

I am in the charge of drawings that will be used to create either the movement or the structure of human figure or portrait.

On our first meeting, we talked about the styles of drawings that will pre-visualize the photographs.

We looked over many pieces of Geraldine Georges, and the most inspirational work of her was:
